Are you ready for six nights of lectures about our western rivers? Well, probably not. That’s a lot of talking. But if you’re a University of Montana college student looking for an easy paper, or just a local interested in thinking about our waters from a different perspective, the 16th Annual Community Lecture Series is right up your alley this year. For 2014, the University of Montana’s Alumni association is sponsoring six speakers, each speaker talking about river ecosystems on a Tuesday night running from February 18th to March 25.
|You might meet a nice girl here. Or learn something about fishing. Whatever.|
Topics range from river access law, to conservation of native fish and everything in between. Check out the event page for information and tickets, and head down to the college for a Tuesday night listening to a great lecture where you’re sure to come away with some serious river knowledge.
