Throwback Thursday: The Kitchen Sink

Some days it takes a whole lot of hustling to get at the big fish. Lucky for us, western Montana gives you plenty of chances. Summer is here, and we’re having a great time on the river. Rain or shine, the fish are ready and willing to take a ride on the end of your line, as long as you key in on what they’re eating. We all love those lucky days when you hit the water, tie on a fly and it eats all day long. But if it were that easy all the time, it’d be called rollerblading. You gotta love the days that take some work, the fish that reward the patient angler, and tossing everything you’ve got at them. Here’s to throwing the kitchen sink, and a #throwbackthursday shot of a full dance card on the drying patch.

Fur, feathers and foam. A full day on the rivers in western Montana features all of the above.
