Throwback Thursday: Evening Floats on the Clark

There’s not a lot better than an evening float, watching the sun go down and sticking big fish rising to clouds of hatching bugs. The Clark Fork below town is good, and the getting is too. So grab your rod and get down there tonight for some dry fly action below the crowds. Here’s to putting in as the sun goes down, and putting folks on fish at dusk with a #tbt shot of a soft light rainbow that took a dry fly on the lower Clark Fork, long after most rods had been put up for the day.

Local trout bum Zach Orth knows that when the working day is done,
the big rainbows are just getting started.
