Going Clear

While most of the traffic this weekend was chasing the salmonfly hatch around the Blackfoot, we chose to skip upriver on the Clark Fork and see what was going on, and we were happy with the results. Sunny and breezy, the weather was perfect for being on the water in June. We saw lots golden stones, caddis, and some assorted mayflies with pretty names. The fish visited with us. The river is clearing. Things are good. Have you booked your trip yet? You should.

Montana makes all the difference.
