Here’s a great story about fishing when you can, even if that time is before the crack of dawn. Former Maine striper guide Dave Sherwood chronicles his summer of early fishing in The New York Times. Read the article in the New York Times here.

“As a fishing guide years ago, stripers had provided an income, enabling me to live by the tides and breathe the salt air daily. Now they were back. The only way to really reacquaint myself with them, I knew, was to fish every day,” Sherwood writes.
